Antonio Conte believes Harry Kane will have a fantastic World Cup
Antonio Conte believes Kane will have a fantastic World Cup campaign and explained why he thinks so.
“I think Harry is going to play a fantastic World Cup because this season he was never injured, he has been able to train well, he is good physically and for sure to play many games in such a short period is difficult,” the Tottenham Hotspur manager said.
Kane has been impressive for Tottenham Hotspur this season and has already racked up 12 goals across all competitions. Tottenham Hotspur have played 14 matches in the Premier League so far this season and Kane has featured in each of them.
The England international has amassed 11 goals in the English top flight in the 22/23 campaign. Only Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has scored more goals than Kane in the Premier League this season.
Kane has also made six appearances in the Champions League in the 22/23 season and has bagged a goal. He also featured for Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup where they lost 2-0 to Nottingham Forest earlier this week.
Tottenham takes on Leeds United in a Premier League fixture later today and Kane is expected to start for the north London outfit.
Meanwhile, England are in Group B at the 2022 World Cup. Alongside the Three Lions in Group B are Iran, the USA, and Wales. After taking on Iran on November 21st in their opening fixture, England will square off with the USA. England will then conclude their group stage by facing Wales.
