Transfer News: PSG is considering making a move for Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana, according to reports.
The 21-year-old French defender has also attracted interest from Premier League side Chelsea. The Blues have already made approaches for Fofana, but have seen their bids rejected by the Foxes.
Chelsea is said to have tabled two bids for the France U-21 international, the second reportedly worth in excess of £70m. Leicester City is reluctant to sell Fofana, but Chelsea could make another bid for the centre-back. The Independent claim Chelsea is £10m short of Leicester’s valuation of Fofana.
However, Chelsea could face competition from PSG as a report emerging from France claim the Parisians [via Metro] are considering a move for the highly-rated defender.
PSG are looking to freshen up their defensive department, and Le Parisien claims they are surprised Leicester would listen to offers for Fofana.

Leicester City signed Fofana from Saint-Étienne on a five-year contract in 2020. The young defender has since featured in 51 matches for the Foxes and has scored 3 goals.
The youngster could only feature in 12 matches for Leicester City last season as injury ruled him out for much of the season.
Fofana started for Leicester City when they faced Brentford in their Premier League 2022/23 season opener. He played the entire match, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
