Asia Cup 2022: Ajay Jadeja ignores Dinesh Karthik from his Asia Cup squad
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja has ignored Dinesh Karthik from his Asia Cup squad. He said that Dinesh Karthik can sit beside him as a commentator.
Meanwhile, Ajay Jadeja said the team management needs to pick the team differently as per the situation. “Now you need to pick differently if you want to play as aggressively as I have heard them play.
“You must use every means to get Dinesh Karthik if Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma enter the field. He is your protection. But if you do not have either of them, Dinesh Karthik is not needed in this situation.”
“But Karthik can sit next to me; I would not place him there. He excels in providing commentary. But I would not choose him for that team, there. You must now choose between playing Axar or Ravindra.
“Karthik, Kohli, and Rohit should be added if it is Dhoni-style. But you can not play cricket today if Karthik is included. Maybe even Kohli, depending on how well-formed he is,” he further added.
