IND vs SA: Team India played against Australian national cricket team of late. The Men in Blue emerged as the victorious side in the series despite losing the first game in Mohali.
Rohit Sharma and Co clinched victories in Nagpur and Hyderabad T20I to win the series. The cricketing action shifts towards the three-match T20I series against South Africa.
The first of the three-match T20I series kicks off today at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the replacements for the ruled-out cricketers for the T20I series against South Africa.
The likes of Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will undergo rehabilitation and injury management at the National Cricket Academy.
This will be the ideal time for both the players to recover and get ready for the Twenty20 World Cup 2022. On the other hand, all-rounder Deepak Hooda has been ruled out of the T20I series against Proteas due to a back injury.
He will take some more time to recover so as to get ready for the marquee event in Australia (October 16 to November 13).

Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has not completely recovered yet after contracting the virus infection. He was also not available for the selection.
The selectors included Umesh Yadav, Shreyas Iyer and Shahbaz Ahmed for the upcoming series against South Africa.
Meanwhile, Umesh Yadav got a chance to feature in the first T20 game against Australia. He also got a couple of wickets to his name. On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer performed well in the Duleep Trophy final.
Meanwhile, Bengal all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed, who received his first call-up for ODI series against Zimbabwe was recalled to the squad.
