Borussia Dortmund Transfer News: Left-back is one of the positions Marco Rose will look to improve in his squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The BVB’s current senior left-backs Raphaël Guerreiro and Nico Schulz have failed to impress consistently this season. Tom Rothe is another promising young option Marco Rose currently has at his disposal but the 17-year old starlet lacks the experience to take the team forward.
Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini is among the top candidates who have been linked with a move to Signal Iduna Park in recent months. The 27-year old Algerian international impressed with his performances this season and is currently on the radar of a number of big European clubs.
He will enter the final 12 months of his current contract at the end of the season. Mönchengladbach is likely to cash in for him in summer as opposed to letting him leave for free in 2023.

According to reports, Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of signing Borussia Monchengladbach’s left-back Ramy Bensebaini for a transfer fee of €12 million.
The signing of Bensebaini will significantly improve BVB’s leaky defence, which has conceded 50 goals in 32 league games this season. However, they will likely face competition from Barcelona and Juventus FC, who have also shown interest in signing the Algeria international.
Apart from Bensebaini, 1899 Hoffenheim’s David Raum is another left-back linked with a move to the BVB in recent weeks.
Marco Rose’s side have already become active for the upcoming transfer window. They have signed the defensive duo of Niklas Sule and Nico Schlotterbeck from Bayern Munich and FC Freiberg respectively.
