Since Zinedine Zidane’s managerial take over at Real Madrid, James Rodriguez has been frozen out by the French legend and has hardly played any part with just 6 starts in Real Madrid’s 23 games so far this season.
Also, with the impending £50m transfer of Blues’ Brazilian star, Oscar to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, Chelsea will be looking to use the money to get James.

Also, with Real Madrid ban on transfers for two seasons having been reduced to one, Los Blancos will be more than content to cash in on the out of favor, James Rodriguez to pave way for incoming reinforcements.
