Chelsea transfer news: The Blues attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
Hudson-Odoi was considered one of Europe’s most promising attackers when he made his first team debut for the Blues in 2018. However, he has struggled with injuries in recent seasons and is currently among the fringes at Stamford Bridge.
He has played 72 league games for the London outfit thus far, scoring four goals. The 21-year-old helped the Blues win four trophies, including one Premier League title and one UEFA Champions League trophy.
The England international won the 2018-19’s Chelsea Young Player of the Season accolade and was also nominated for the Golden Boy award in 2020.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayer Leverkusen are on the verge of signing Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi on a season-long loan. Negotiations are expected to be completed this month after the England international rejected offers from two Premier League clubs this window.
Hudson-Odoi has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following Raheem Sterling’s arrival from Manchester City earlier this window.
He wants to leave the London outfit to play regular first-team football, strengthening his chances of making it to the Three Lions squad for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen have just signed Adam Hlozek this window. Manager Gerardo Seoane will hope to bring in more fresh faces to the squad before the transfer deadline.
