Chennai Super Kings did exceedingly well with the squad they have. They were starved with multiple injuries in the starting phase of this IPL 2023 season. But MS Dhoni didn’t let that hinder CSK’s season.
The struggle was there due to injuries and new players yet to jell into the team. But when it got going, there was no stopping. Chennai Super Kings put up a dominating display against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday.

Akash Chopra’s statement clarifies Shubman Gill performance
Shubman Gill’s performance this season has been drawing a lot of attention. Akash Chopra’s statement gave clarification behind the performances. It will be seen if he can continue his performance in the final.
Akash Chopra’s statement read, “If Shubman Gill bats first, his average is close to 100. He has scored more than one century here and half-centuries as well, but most of these runs have come while batting first.”
Akash Chopra’s statement also read, “When he comes to chase, in fact, he scored runs against this team only in the first match; he has scored runs after that as well, but the average falls to 40. An average of 40 looks less if we see it from his viewpoint; it is well played for the others, but there is a stark difference.”
