Bangladesh has climbed up in the Asia Cup Points Table and Asia Cup Points Table 2023 after their win in the IND vs BAN match. Quite humorously Pakistan has gone on to finish at the last position in the Super Four stages.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Mohammed Shami provided an early breakthrough for India. Bangladesh lost their top order for cheap. Shakib Al Hasan promoted himself to the batting order.
This resulted in quick scoring as Shakib Al Hasan put up 80 runs on the board. Their lower order also contributed well thanks to loose bowling from the Indian cricket team. They got too comfortable in the end.
Towhid Hridoy scored 54 runs while Nasum Ahmed scored 44 runs. This led the Bangladesh cricket team to a total of 265 runs with a loss of eight wickets in 50 overs against India.

Rohit Sharma was off for a duck as India got a struggling start. All the batters flopped except Shubman Gill who scored a century in the IND vs BAN match and Axar Patel (42). Tilak Verma scored only 5 runs. India was all out for 259 runs.

The Indian cricket team lost against Bangladesh on Friday but they maintained their first position. India will be finishing at the top of the Asia Cup Points Table and Asia Cup Points Table 2023.
However, hilariously Pakistan cricket team has finished in the last position of the table. The once favorites of Asia Cup 2023 couldn’t even avoid finishing last. Bangladesh finished at the third spot.

But credit to the Bangladesh bowlers. Gill’s hundred was brilliant. He backs his game, he knows exactly how he wants to play. Pretty clear on what he wants to do for the team. Look at his form over the last year. Pretty solid against the new ball. Works really hard, there’s no optional practice for Gill.
