Chennai Super Kings were coming into this game after winning against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday. Chennai Super Kings put up 172 runs while Gujarat Titans scored 157 runs. Chennai Super Kings won the IPL 2023 match by 15 runs. 

Mohammed Shami went on to pick up two wickets against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday. He did so by giving away 28 runs in four overs with an economy rate of 7.00.

Gujarat Titans were coming into this game after winning against Mumbai Indians on Friday. Gujarat Titans put up 233 runs while Mumbai Indians scored 171 runs. Gujarat Titans won the IPL 2023 match by 62 runs.

Shubman Gill went on to score 129 runs against Mumbai Indians on Friday. Moreover, he did so from 60 balls with a strike rate of 215.00. Shubman Gill hit 7 fours and 10 sixes in the IPL 2023 match.
