PAK vs NZ: One of the finest Kiwi batters, Devon Conway attained a huge feat during Pakistan vs New Zealand 1st Test on Wednesday.
Batting first, Pakistan Cricket team lost Abdullah Shafique (7) and Shan Masood (3) early. Imam Ul Haq (24) and Saud Shakeel (22) could not convert their starts into big innings.
It was a belligerent partnership between experienced campaigners Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Khan. Interestingly, Sarfaraz was playing his first-ever Test in his home stadium, Karachi.
The duo looked composed in their efforts to steer the team in a proficient fashion. They added a 194-run stand before Sarfaraz (86) was dismissed. Then, Babar finished on 161, while Agha Salman hit his maiden hundred to propel Pakistan to 438.
In response, Devon Conway and Tom Latham were sublime to put the New Zealand cricket team on the front seat with their confident performances. At the end of Day 1, NZ were at 165/0 and held a strong grip in the PAK vs NZ fixture.

PAK vs NZ: Devon Conway fastest Kiwi batter to 1,000 Test runs
On the first session of Day 2, Devon Conway was dismissed on 92, just falling short of a well-deserved century. However, the southpaw made sure to achieve a miraculous feat during the PAK vs NZ Test.
Devon Conway became the fastest Kiwi batter to 1,000 runs in red-ball cricket. He now has 1,110 runs in 19 innings with an average of around 50, including five fifties and three centuries. In this process, Devon Conway eclipsed John Reid, who reached the four figure-mark in 20 innings.
After the dismissal of Devon Conway in PAK vs NZ, Tom Latham finished his century and made his way back for 113. Afterward, Henry Nicholls (22) and Daryl Mitchell (42) supported Kane Williamson well.
In the third session, Williamson is batting on 80*, while Tom Blundell (33*) is alongside him. The New Zealand team are already around the total of 400 and are looking to take a strong lead in PAK vs NZ fixture.
It will be interesting to see if the spin duo Nauman Ali and Abrar Ahmed can pull back things in favour of the hosts in PAK vs NZ. Both teams are out of WTC Final but will go all out to prevail in this game.
