Injury Updates for India's Star Players Ahead of Australia Series

Indian cricket fans have some good news as Sanju Samson has cleared his fitness test and could make a comeback in the upcoming ODI series against Australia. On the other hand, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is expected to return in the same series, but his comeback is still uncertain.

Sanju Samson, who was dropped from the squad after the 1st T20 against Sri Lanka due to a knee injury, has been working with a personal physiotherapist in Kochi to get back to full fitness.

He has now returned to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and cleared his fitness test, making him available for selection.

Jasprit Bumrah, who was also dropped from the Sri Lanka ODI squad due to a stiff back, is still undergoing rehabilitation. He recently started bowling at the NCA in Bengaluru but is still a month away from regaining full-match fitness.

A senior BCCI official has stated that Bumrah must be at 100% before being considered for selection, as back injuries take time and rehabilitation is a lengthy process.

Another injured player, Shreyas Iyer, is also trying to make a comeback for the Australia series. He is included in the squad for the first two Tests but is still at the NCA recovering from a back injury. The selectors have asked for a report on his condition and will decide on a replacement this week.

It is a welcome sign for the Indian cricket team to have Sanju Samson cleared for selection, as he is a vital player in the middle order. He has been in good form in recent times, scoring heavily in the domestic circuit.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah is considered one of the best fast bowlers in the world and his comeback will boost the Indian pace attack.

However, the Indian team management will have to keep a close eye on both players and ensure they are fully fit before being considered for selection. They don’t want to rush either player back and risk further injury.

The Indian cricket team has some good news with Sanju Samson cleared for selection and Jasprit Bumrah expected to make a comeback in the ODI series against Australia.

The Indian fans will be eagerly waiting for the two stars to make a return to the international circuit and deliver their best performances.

Meanwhile, the loss of Glenn Maxwell for the Test series in India is a significant blow for the Australian cricket team. However, the team has a strong squad and is ready to face the challenges ahead.
