Kieron Pollard Hammers The Ball Outside The Stadium In Sharjah, Video Goes Viral

Kieron Pollard might have retired from international cricket and IPL but he is still continuing to make waves in the ongoing International League T20, 2023.

The former West Indies all-rounder currently represents MI Emirates in the ongoing tournament. In fact, he is also the captain of the team.

The 21st game between Desert Vipers and MI Emirates saw Kieron Pollard dominating the game with ease. He toyed with the opposition bowlers with brutal batting skills.

Kieron Pollard who possesses a truckload of experience in T20s let his willow do the talking in the T20 game at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.

He went on to score one of the fastest fifties of his T20 career. The former West Indies captain scored an unbeaten 50 off just 19 balls including 4 fours and 4 sixes.

Notably, he has maintained an impressive strike rate of 263.16. His brutal knock powered the MI Emirates to 241/3 in their quota of 20 overs.

During the game, Kieron Pollard hogged the limelight after he smashed a sensational six which travelled a long distance and went out of the Sharjah stadium.

On the other hand, Desert Vipers were bowled out for 84 runs in 12.1 overs. MI Emirates won the game by a massive margin of 157 runs.

After the game, Kieron Pollard said, “The guys batted well I thought, especially the start. He (Waseem) was brilliant, that’s what we know we can do. Lovely to see him striking it and Fletcher supporting him well.

“Yes (enjoying captaincy), a lot of experienced guys but also some not-so-experienced guys. Have played a lot around the world, so it’s about passing on our knowledge. It was a good debut for him (Mousley), Nicholas Pooran couldn’t play due to personal reasons, so he did well as the replacement,” Pollard added.
