In late December, last year, Rishabh Pant was involved in a horrific car accident. As per the video clip seen in CCTV footage, his car rammed into a divider and caught fire.
Fortunately, the cricketer managed to escape his car with injuries. The reports stated that the cricketer was travelling all alone early morning.
Rishabh Pant was actually heading to his hometown to surprise his family members. Nevertheless, he accidentally crashed into one of the divider linings of the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
He was quickly taken to the nearby local hospital for medication. After that, he was shifted to the hospital in Mumbai for further medical procedures.
However, after several months of rehabilitation, Rishabh Pant was able to get back on his feet. Video clips of him walking without a stick went viral on social media channels.

The 25-year-old cricketer made the headlines very recently after he posted a video clip of himself doing a high-intensity workout. The fans were extremely happy upon seeing the video.
The star cricketer took to his social media handle and posted the video clip along with the caption which reads, “Thankful to god at least I have started seeing some light in the dark tunnel.” Rishabh Pant’s Twitter post went viral.
Rishabh Pant was last seen in cricketing action during the 2022 Test match against Bangladesh in Dhaka. Since then, he has been away from the game. He has been training hard at the National Cricket Academy.
Meanwhile, his comeback to the team is not confirmed yet. He is said to be ruled out of the ongoing calendar year. Rishabh Pant will be a key figure for India’s chances in T20 World Cup 2024.
