Sunil Gavaskar’s statement on Naveen-ul-Haq’s celebration during the Eliminator clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians has gone viral on social media.
Sunil Gavaskar was not really happy with the way Naveen-ul-Haq celebrated during the Eliminator at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
Sunil Gavaskar’s statement came after Naveen-ul-Haq’s celebration after Rohit Sharma’s dismissal during the game. The commentator further highlighted that the paceman had issues with the crowd.
He further echoed that the pacer had to listen to the applause. For the record, Naveen got rid of Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma in his second ball of the match.
Furthermore, the Afghan pacer got rid of in-form batters Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green in the eleventh over of the game.
The paceman hogged the limelight after he covered his ears with his fingers while celebrating the wickets. This became the most-talked-about incident on social media.
