Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina recently announced his retirement from domestic and IPL cricket. Meanwhile, he has decided to start a new chapter of his career.

So far, the competition has completed five seasons since its inception. The fans witnessed the sixth edition that already started on November 23, 2022.
Earlier, the veteran cricketer was seen playing for the India Legends team in the Legends League Cricket 2022 tournament.
During the second game of the Abu Dhabi T10 league between Deccan Gladiators and Team Abu Dhabi, Raina failed to make his presence count the pitch.
He departed for a second ball duck and he literally couldn’t believe his luck while playing the big shot over the long-off region.

Deccan Gladiators posted 134/6 in their quota of 10 overs. Skipper Nicholas Pooran top-scored with 77 off 33 balls including 5 boundaries. On the other hand, Team Abu Dhabi ended up with 99/6 in 10 overs.
Earlier, reports were rife that the southpaw had asked the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and the BCCI for a No Objection Certificate to feature in Abu Dhabi T10 League.
“I wish to play cricket for around two to three years more. A lot of good players are there in the Uttar Pradesh domestic team now and doing really well. I have obtained NOC from UPCA as well.”
He was one of the important players of the Indian cricket team during his playing days. Raina played countless valuable knocks for India during his playing days.
Notably, he was really good when it comes to attacking, especially when the run-chases are concerned. His contribution to Team India shall never be forgotten.
He announced retirement international cricket back in August 15, 2020. Raina made the announcement just hours after his close friend Mahendra Singh Dhoni retired from international cricket.
