The 16th edition of IPL has come to an end. The IPL was played on Monday at Ahmedabad which was scheduled to be played on Sunday. However, the rain washed out the match on Sunday and later it was decided to be played on the reserve day as per the rules are regulations. Gujarat Titans may have lost the match but have won several awards in their second consecutive final.
Shubman Gill, the opening batsman of Gujarat Titans has won the Man of the series in IPL 2023. The Man of the Series award is given to a player who has given the most impact full performances throughout the season.
Shubman Gill was not only awarded as the Man of the Series in IPL 2023. He was also the orange cap holder for most runs in the season. Gill also was awarded with most fours in the season and the game-changer of the season.
The man of the series in IPL 2023 is also known as the most valuable player of the season. The winner of the man of the series in IPL 2023 will receive a trophy along with the Price money of INR 10 Lakhs.
Shubman Gill: Man of The Series in IPL 2023:
The 23-year-old opening batsman Shubham Gill has impressed everyone with his batting in this edition of the IPL. He has played several blistering knocks for Gujarat Titans (GT) in this edition of IPL.

He was a deserving player to win the Man of the Series award of IPL 2023. He has smashed three centuries and has scored 890 runs with an average of 59.33 and a strike rate of 157.80. His highest was 129 off 60 balls which came against Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2. He has become the third batsman to score 800+ runs in a season of IPL after David Warner and Jos Buttler. Virat Kohli is still on the top with 973 runs in 2016.
