Rishabh Pant, wicket-keeper batsman of India has met in a serious accident. However, it was no less than a second birth for the young cricketer due o the major injuries he had. The wicket-keeper batsman’s road to recovery has been no less than an inspiration for all the youngsters out there. With each day Rishabh Pant is getting better, and with the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, the speculation of him playing in the tournament is increasing.
As per the latest reports, Rishabh is at the National Cricket Academy, where he is undergoing rehabilitation. He has kept his fans updated on the progress he is making through the social media platforms. As per the reports, Rishabh Pant will not be playing in the ODI World Cup 2023. He is not completely fit to play in the tournament and is still in rehabilitation at the NCA in Bengaluru.
According to a report in ESPNCricinfo, Rishabh Pant is likely to be sidelined for more than six months which means his chances of being picked for the ODI World Cup 2023. Last week, the cricketer underwent surgery where the posterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament were reconstructed. Pant is now slated to undergo a second surgery, six weeks later, where the anterior cruciate ligament will be reconstructed.

Rishabh Pant’s last appearance for India was in the home series against Bangladesh in December last year. Pant has missed important matches for India, like the Border-Gavaskar series and the World Test Championship final 2023. The selectors have selected KS Bharat and Ishan Kishan as the two target picks for these games. Rishabh Pant the captain of Delhi Capitals has also missed the IPL 2023.
