Joshua Kimmich said, “It was really fun on the pitch today. Of course, we can criticise the fact we didn’t keep a clean sheet, again. It wasn’t bad going forward. It was really fun to be on the pitch today. We knew that there would always be spaces behind Kostić and Knauff, and we utilised them very well.
The four up front, that’s fun. The team is in a good place. We can make something of this. We mustn’t let up, but we can go into the next few games feeling good”

Joshua Kimmich scored a fantastic goal through a free kick in the fifth minute of the match. The German international set up perfectly to deflect the ball from the crossbar.
Moreover, the goal came at a time when there was a huge amount of smoke in that particular area. The smoke released from the flames of fans could have also caused disturbance to the players.
