The 2022 Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was Sebastian Vettel‘s last race. The four-time world champion has given up competitive athletics. He won millions of fans during his F1 career because to both his brave racing and his selfless deeds off the track.
Christian Horner has some good memories with Sebastian Vettel because the German won all four of his titles with Red Bull. During the team representative’s press conference, he talked with the media, including Sportskeeda, and recalled Vettel’s time at Red Bull.
As Christian Horner put it: “He arrived at our facility as a small child with a brace and an odd hairdo. And at that time, he just developed as a Red Bull Junior. Vettel has such a likable demeanor.”
“He had the capacity to mimic and emulate a wide range of accents, from cockney slang to Nigel Mansell, and his Jean Todt was renowned. He would frequently arrive bearing chocolates for the receptionist and secretaries. A really fantastic character, then. …and an even better driver.”
The team manager of Red Bull also discussed how Sebastian Vettel’s team won four world championships. Christian Horner feels that what he has already accomplished in Formula One should not be diminished by the previous few years, despite the fact that the German’s final two years at Aston Martin have been rather difficult for him.
“I mean, what we accomplished together, the four straight World Championships, the way he went into the final race here in 2010, and in Brazil in 2012, great, phenomenal memories,” he remarked.
The last few years have undoubtedly been more difficult for him. But it shouldn’t take away from what he has accomplished as one of the best Formula 1 racers ever.
