Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said that Bruno Fernandes is a doubt for their upcoming Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Red Devils travel to London to take on Tottenham Hotspur in a crucial fixture in the race for the top four in Premier League. Manchester United currently sits fourth in the table while Tottenham occupies the seventh spot.
Manchester United have six points more than Tottenham Hotspur, who have also played two games more than the Red Devils. A win for Manchester United would take the Old Trafford outfit nine points clear of Tottenham while also having two games in hand over the North London outfit.
However, Manchester United may be without Bruno Fernandes for the fixture after Erik Ten Hag admitted the Portuguese attacker is a doubt for the match against Tottenham Hotspur.

“There are some unavailable. [Lisandro] Martinez, [Raphael] Varane. We have to see how Bruno Fernandes is,” Erik ten Hag told reporters [via Man Utd’s official website]. “We don’t know yet, he is a question mark. I think for the rest, we are quite okay.”
However, Bruno Fernandes appears to be in contention to feature against Tottenham Hotspur after he travelled with the Manchester United squad to London for the clash with Spurs.
It remains to be seen if Bruno Fernandes will be fit enough to feature for Manchester United in their upcoming game. The Portuguese international has been a key player for Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Manchester United go into the game against Tottenham Hotspur on the back of their FA Cup semi-final win over Brighton & Hove Albion. The Red Devils edged Brighton out in a penalty shootout after the game remained locked in a goalless draw at the end of normal and extra time.
Bruno Fernandes suffered an injury during the game although he carried on playing until being replaced during the first half of the extra time.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur head into the fixture on the back of a disastrous 6-1 defeat to Newcastle United in the Premier League. They conceded five goals inside the first 21 minutes. Both sides then scored a goal each in the second half as Tottenham slumped to a heavy and humiliating defeat.
