Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said it is going to be very demanding in the Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City.
Real Madrid welcomed Manchester City to Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, and that game ended in a 1-1 draw. The result of that first leg leaves the tie in the balance. Everything is to play for when Manchester City welcome Real Madrid to the Etihad Stadium in the second leg.
Ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the media. Ancelotti believes Real Madrid can do better than they did in their 1-1 draw with Manchester City at Santiago Bernabeu.
“The plan is the same as always, to try to get the best out of our team individually and collectively. It’s going to be very demanding, we can do better than in the first leg. Some things we can do better after reviewing the match,” Carlo Ancelotti said [via Madrid Universal].

Carlo Ancelotti: There are things Real Madrid can improve, and Manchester City also can improve things
Carlo Ancelotti thinks the Champions League semi-final second leg is not going to be a much different game from what happened in the first leg. He also hailed Manchester City as the best team in Europe.
“I’m calm and excited, with a lot of faith. Tomorrow will be a day of worry, of bad thoughts about what the opponent is going to do, but we have to think that Vinicius can have a great game or Benzema, not in the negative,” Carlo Ancelotti said.
“I don’t think it will be any different. Just with some adjustments. There are things we can improve and they can also improve things. We are not going to see such a different game to last week. They have the best team in Europe.”
Real Madrid are the most successful side in the competition, having won the title a record 14 times. When asked what makes Real Madrid so special in the Champions League, Carlo Ancelotti said: “It’s not easy to explain, but I personally believe that for Real Madrid the Champions League is special because of its history, because of its five historic Champions League titles.
“All the people who work at the club are capable of keeping this history alive. This is one of the great qualities of this club.”
