Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said that the Red Devils want to be in the Champions League next season.
Manchester United missed out on qualification for this season’s Champions League after finishing sixth in the Premier League last season. The Red Devils are aiming to qualify for next season’s Champions League and are in the race for a top-four finish in Premier League this season.
Manchester United currently sit fourth in the Premier League points table. The Old Trafford outfit have 63 points from 32 matches in Premier League so far this season. They are just two points behind third-placed Newcastle United, who have 65 points from 33 matches. Manchester United are also seven points clear of fifth-placed Liverpool.
Manchester United have also already won the EFL Cup title this season and are in the final of the FA Cup, where they will square off with Manchester City for the trophy.

Erik Ten Hag: We want to win every game, we want to win every competition
Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s upcoming Premier League clash with Brighton, Erik ten Hag said it is clear that they want to be in the Champions League next season.
“We want to win every game, we want to win every competition…but it’s clear we want to be in the Champions League. That is the competition we are now fighting for and I think that is in this moment the only thing we have to focus on because the FA Cup final is after the season. So the only thing we have to do now is to get this done,” Erik ten Hag told [via GOAL] reporters.
The upcoming Premier League game against Brighton comes less than two weeks after the two sides square off in the FA Cup semi-final. Manchester United emerged triumphant on that occasion, edging Brighton out in a penalty shootout in the semi-final.
Manchester United have six games to go in Premier League this season and Erik ten Hag said they want to win every one of those.
“I never want to talk during the season about proud or satisfaction. No, because you know my statement: satisfaction leads to laziness and we are in the season. We have six games to go and every game we want to win,” Erik ten Hag said.
“Therefore you need full focus, you need full energy and you need full preparation and definitely it’s going to be a fight and we have to get ready for that fight to get the points.”
