Arsenal stats: Ever since they appointed Mikel Arteta as their manager, the Gunners have scored 17 goals after ninety minutes in the Premier League, according to Sky Sports.
Mikel Arteta joined Arsenal as their new manager in 2019 on a deal that runs until 2023. He guided the Gunners to the FA Cup title in 2019/20. Arsenal also won the Community Shield title in 2020. But the north London outfit finished at a disappointing eighth place in the Premier League in both 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.
However, Arsenal have since shown progress under Mikel Arteta. They finished fifth in the Premier League in the 2021/22 season. Arsenal also came close to winning the Premier League title last season, but Manchester City beat them to the title.
Mikel Arteta and co. had led the Premier League title race for much of the 22/23 season. However, Manchester City led the race towards the end of the campaign and eventually lifted the title. While Manchester City secured 89 points from 38 matches, Arsenal, who finished second, earned 85 points.
