Harry Kane has insisted he is focused on the ongoing season amid speculation surrounding his future, with the Englishman now in the final 18 months of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

Harry Kane has now addressed the speculation and rumours surrounding his Tottenham Hotspur future. The English attacker admitted he is not yet in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over extending his contract but is sure there will be conversations between the two parties in the upcoming months.

“There’s not been much talking, to be totally honest. I’m sure there will be conversations over the coming months. But to be honest, I’m just focused on this season and doing my best for the team,” Harry Kane said.
“(There’s) still a lot to play for, trying to get in the Champions League, and we’ve got the Champions League and FA Cup still to try and win so my focus is on that. I know there’s probably going to be rumours and a lot of talk about my future. But I’m just focused on what I can do,” he added.
The Athletic have reported that Harry Kane is open to signing a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur if the circumstances are right.
If Tottenham Hotspur and Harry Kane fail to reach an agreement over extending his contract beyond 2024, the north London club will need to decide whether to sell the Englishman in the summer or let him enter the final year of his contract.
