Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti’s current contract with the La Liga behemoths expires at the end of the season. It is not yet certain whether Ancelotti will stay at Real Madrid beyond the campaign or not amid reports also linking him with the job of Brazil’s national football team.
Carlo Ancelotti became the Real Madrid manager for a second time in 2021, and the Spanish heavyweights have largely impressed during the Italian’s second stint at the club.
Carlo Ancelotti has already won La Liga, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Spanish Super Cup, and Copa del Rey titles with Real Madrid in his second stint at the club. Under the tutelage of Ancelotti, Real Madrid have also got off to a fantastic start in the 23/24 campaign.
Real Madrid sits atop the La Liga points table with 24 points from nine matches. They have also won the two fixtures they have played in the Champions League group stage so far this campaign.

While Real Madrid have made a good start to the season, there is still uncertainty over who will be the club’s head coach next season.
Current Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti could leave them at the end of the season and join Brazil’s national football team, who are currently without a permanent manager.
Mundo Deportivo reported that Carlo Ancelotti would accept a contract renewal at Real Madrid if the club offered him. They also report that Jose Mourinho is one of the names being heard around Real Madrid as a candidate to replace Carlo Ancelotti if he leaves the club.
Jose Mourinho currently manages Serie A side AS Roma, but the Portuguese manager and the Italian side are likely to part ways at the end of the season. Mourinho is also a former Real Madrid manager, having managed the Spanish side between 2010 and 2013.
Mundo Deportivo also reports Real Madrid also have their former manager Zinedine Zidane and current Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso on the list of possible replacements for Ancelotti.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti and his team will resume their campaign after the October international break with a La Liga match against Sevilla.
