Argentina superstar Lionel Messi to splash £135k to gift his teammates and staff members gold iPhones. Each device will be personalized and will have each person’s name engraved along with the AFA logo.
While speaking to the media, Ben, CEO of iDesign Gold, revealed that Lionel Messi is one of their loyal customers. He said: “Lionel is not only the Goat but he’s one of IDESIGN GOLD’s most loyal customers and got in touch with us a couple of months after the World Cup final.”

“He said he wanted a special gift for all the players and staff to celebrate the amazing win but didn’t want the usual gift of watches. So, I suggested gold iPhones inscribed with their names and he loved the idea.”
Lionel Messi offered €88 million per year contract
According to journalist Joan Fontes, Al-Ittihad are ready to offer Lionel Messi a contract worth €88 million per year.
The Argentina international is currently in the final year of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. PSG are currently in negotiations to extend his deal but the talks are yet to reach a fruitful end.
Barcelona also wants to bring him back to Camp Nou, while Inter Miami have shown interest in signing him in recent months as well. It remains to be seen what he decides about his future.
Lionel Messi joined the Parisians on a free transfer from Barcelona during the summer transfer window of 2021. He has been in excellent form this season. The 35-year-old attacker has registered 12 goals and 12 assists in 20 Ligue 1 games thus far.
