Lionel Messi’s Son, Thiago Messi has joined the Inter Miami youth team. It is often seen that children of footballers join the youth academy of the club for which their father play.
Thus Lionel Messi’s son Thiago Messi was no exception. He will be a part of the U-12 side of Inter Miami. Previously the likes of Romeo Beckham son of David Beckham and Phil Neville’s son have also played for Inter Miami Youth Academy.
Now Thiago Messi has also started his journey at the club. He was recently seen wearing the Inter Miami jersey. Previously he expressed his desire to play as a goalkeeper. He was said to be inspired by Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen.
Messi and Ter Stegen were teammates at Barcelona. The duo have won plenty of trophies together as well. Thus it is understandable why the German influenced Thiago Messi.

A few weeks ago a video was circulating on social media where Matteo Messi was tackling Thiga Messi. The video was posted after Inter Miami had beaten LAFC. Despite the frustrations of Thigao, Matteo did not stop his antics.
Some fans even suggested that Matteo Messi seems to be inspired by Sergio Ramos. During his prime, the Spaniard was famous for his rough tackling and no-nonsense defending. Many times Lionel Messi was the victim of his tackles.
However, both Messi and Ramos were teammates at Paris Saint Germain. Thus some fans suggested online that Matteo Messi learned such harsh tackling when Ramos and Lionel Messi were teammates.
