Marcel Sabitzer, who currently plays for Manchester United on a loan deal until the end of the season, has revealed he is yet to speak to his parent club Bayern Munich or their manager Thomas Tuchel over his future.
Manchester United signed Marcel Sabitzer on a loan deal until the end of the 22/23 campaign from Bayern Munich late in the January transfer window of 2023.
His Manchester United loan spell is nearing its end, and it remains to be seen if the Red Devils will sign him on a permanent deal in the summer or if he returns to Bayern Munich.
Julian Nagelsmann was the Bayern Munich manager at the time of Marcel Sabitzer’s loan move to Manchester United. Bayern parted ways with Nagelsmann in March and have since appointed Thomas Tuchel as their new manager.

Marcel Sabitzer reveals there has not been any contact up until now with Thomas Tuchel or Bayern Munich over his future
Speaking to Sky Germany, Marcel Sabitzer revealed he is yet to speak to Bayern Munich or Thomas Tuchel over his future at the German club.
“Of course, there hasn’t been any contact up until now, because they have a lot going on and so do we,” Marcel Sabitzer has told Sky Sports Germany [via 90min]. “Everyone is focused on their tasks. We’ll discuss and analyse everything calmly and see in which direction it’ll go.”
Since making the loan move to Manchester United, Marcel Sabitzer has appeared in 17 games for the Old Trafford outfit. He has three goals and an assist to his name in those games for the Premier League side.
Meanwhile, Marcel Sabitzer will be aiming to help Manchester United to finish the 22/23 campaign on a strong note. The Red Devils have already won the EFL Cup title, are in the final of the FA Cup, and in the race for a top-four finish in Premier League this season.
Manchester United sit fourth in the Premier League points table with 63 points from 33 matches. They are two points behind third-placed Newcastle United. The Red Devils are also one point clear of fifth-placed Liverpool, who have played two games more.
Manchester United, meanwhile, will square off with neighbours Manchester City in the final of the FA Cup in June after the end of their Premier League 22/23 campaign.
