Neymar has spoken out for the first time after reports alleged him to have criticized his Paris Saint-Germain teammates and was involved in a heated row with the club’s sporting director Luis Campos during their defeat to AS Monaco.
PSG took on AS Monaco in their most recent fixture and the defending Ligue 1 champions slumped to a shock 3-1 defeat. It was their second consecutive defeat with Parisians having been knocked out of the French Cup by Marseille in their fixture prior to the Monaco clash.
Neymar reportedly criticized his Paris Saint-Germain teammates during the defeat to AS Monaco. The Brazilian superstar was also reportedly involved in a heated row with Luis Campos, who is Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting director.
Speaking in a press conference, Neymar admitted ‘little’ disagreements did happen but insisted a lot of information that has come out is wrong while some are true.

“It happened” – Neymar breaks silence on bust-up with Luis Campos
“It happened, a little discussion, we didn’t agree,” Neymar said. “It happens to us every day, but I love them all, it’s like with my girlfriend. Football is not just love, not just friendship. There is respect but it happens to have discussions. We are not used to losing, when there are defeats, of course, it disturbs us. It is part of the process to improve.”
Neymar also stressed that what happens in the dressing room must stay between those involved.
“For the locker room, it is sometimes lies that come out in the press and it goes around the world. Rumours have happened to come out at key moments of the season,” Neymar said.
“We have to look for what’s going on, it’s not normal for stories to come out in the press, it has to stay between us. We have to walk together. When there’s news like that, we’re angry. I guarantee you that a lot of information are wrong, but some are true.”
