Pep Guardiola believes there are two more teams apart from Arsenal and Manchester City in the race for the Premier League 22/23 title.

Manchester United and Newcastle United are Premier League title rivals, says Pep Guardiola
Manchester United, who have been largely impressive under Erik ten Hag, occupies the third place in the Premier League points table. The Red Devils have 46 points from 23 matches – two games more than Arsenal and one more than Man City have played – and they are two points shy of Man City and five points behind Arsenal.
Newcastle United completes the top four. The Magpies have 41 points from 22 matches in the Premier League so far in the 22/23 season.
Pep Guardiola responded in affirmative when he asked if he considers third-placed Manchester United and fourth-placed Newcastle United as Premier League title rivals. “Yeah, they are there. There are a lot of points to play for,” Pep Guardiola said.
“We don’t know what can happen in the next weeks. I always have the feeling, especially now with European competitions back and FA Cup around the corner, the last eight to ten games are going to decide the title.
“We have to try to be there in that moment and then have to make the last effort to try to achieve it.”
Manchester City are aiming to defend the Premier League title and they will be eyeing to pull ahead of Arsenal in the race by defeating the Gunners in their upcoming match.
Arsenal and Manchester City square off in the Premier League in their next game. If Manchester City emerges victorious in that fixture, Pep Guardiola and co. will match Arsenal’s point tally and take the first spot in the points table courtesy of a better goal difference.
