Pep Guardiola said his Manchester City players are ‘exhausted’ ahead of their FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United and crunch Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Pep Guardiola was speaking after Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-final second leg. Manchester City have now qualified for the semi-final of the Champions League with a 4-1 aggregate win over Bayern Munich in the quarter-final.

Manchester City are fighting for titles on three different fronts. Pep Guardiola and co. have qualified for the FA Cup and Champions League semi-finals while they are also in the race for the Premier League title.

Manchester City will take on Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-final less than 72 hours after they completed their Champions League second-leg against Bayern Munich. Pep Guardiola said he does not know how his Manchester City players will recover in time to play against Sheffield United.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s Champions League semi-final clashes against Real Madrid will take place in May. It was Real Madrid who knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage last season. Hence, Manchester City will also be eyeing revenge against Real Madrid.
