Paris Saint-Germain are ready to reappoint Thomas Tuchel as their manager and would be willing to admit they made a mistake when they sacked the German manager in December 2020.
Thomas Tuchel was the Paris Saint-Germain manager between 2018 and 2020. PSG appointed the German tactician as their manager in May 2018. He lasted in the job until PSG sacked him in December 2020.
Thomas Tuchel then became the manager of Chelsea in January 2021. He was, however, rather surprisingly sacked by Chelsea in September 2022. Tuchel has been out of work ever since.
Evening Standard reports that Thomas Tuchel is ready to get back into work and that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to reappoint their former manager as their new manager.

Christophe Galtier is the current PSG manager. PSG appointed Galtier as their manager in July 2022. Although PSG sits atop the Ligue 1 points table, the French giants have reportedly grown frustrated with Christophe Galtier.
PSG have already been knocked out of the French Cup by Marseille in the round of 16. They also head into the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 clash with Bayern Munich with a one-goal deficit.
It has to also be noted that Paris Saint-Germain have been far from their best since club football action resumed after the end of FIFA World Cup 2022. The defending Ligue 1 champions came close to suffering a defeat in their most recent match, though they eventually pulled off a comeback to earn all three points.
Against LOSC Lille in their most recent fixture, PSG bottled a two-goal lead to trail the game 3-2. However, late goals from Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi helped PSG seal the victory.
Meanwhile, Evening Standard also reports that Thomas Tuchel may need convincing to become the PSG manager. Should PSG appoint Tuchel as their manager, he would be dealing with Luis Campos instead of Leonardo, who reportedly had a falling out with him during his first stint at the French club.
The English outlet also reports that Thomas Tuchel would need assurances from PSG that they would be willing to protect him against player power at the French club, which has a star-studded squad.
