Real Madrid are closing on a transfer agreement with Borussia Dortmund for England midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Jude Bellingham has already established himself as one of the world’s best young talents. He has been impressive for Borussia Dortmund and England’s national football team.
He has attracted transfer interest from some of Europe’s top clubs. And it is Real Madrid who appears to be leading the race for the signature of the highly-rated midfielder ahead of Manchester City, who are also keen on signing him.
Liverpool were linked with a move for Jude Bellingham but the Merseyside outfit have pulled out of the race to acquire the services of the English midfielder.

Jude Bellingham transfer: Real Madrid & Borussia Dortmund continuing discussions over transfer fee and bonuses
According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid are closing in on an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jude Bellingham in the summer transfer window of 2023.
The deal has not yet been concluded, but the English outlet reports that Real Madrid are continuing discussions with Borussia Dortmund over final transfer fee and bonuses. The report also states that the two parties are within reach of finalizing terms.
If Real Madrid land Jude Bellingham in the summer transfer window, it will bolster what is already one of the best midfield departments in the world.
Real Madrid’s current midfield is a mix of youth and experience. Their midfield department have the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Federico Valverde.
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham has been impressive for Borussia Dortmund in the current campaign. The midfielder has appeared in 40 games across all competitions for Dortmund this season and has amassed 11 goals and seven assists in those games.
Dortmund are also in the race for the Bundesliga title. They currently sit second in the Bundesliga table with 61 points from 30 matches. Bayern Munich occupy the first place with 62 points from 30 matches. It remains to be seen who will lift the Bundesliga title in the current campaign.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, are unlikely to win the La Liga title this season. They trail table-toppers Barcelona by 14 points. But Real Madrid are in the final of Copa del Rey and the semi-final of the Champions League. Real Madrid will square off with Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final and will take on Manchester City in the UCL semi-final.
