Rio Ferdinand believes there are only two teams Manchester City will be hoping not to be drawn against in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
Manchester City sealed their place in the quarter-final of the Champions League with an 8-1 aggregate win over RB Leipzig in the round of 16. The first leg of the round of 16 tie between Manchester City and RB Leipzig had ended in a 1-1 draw. But Manchester City romped their way to a sensational 7-0 win in the second leg to secure their passage to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Benfica, Chelsea, and Inter Milan have also qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Winners of Real Madrid vs Liverpool and Napoli vs Eintracht Frankfurt round-of-16 ties will also qualify for the quarter-finals.
Manchester City will learn on Friday who they will be facing in the quarter-finals. Rio Ferdinand believes Manchester City will be hoping to avoid two teams in the quarter-final draw.

Speaking to BT Sport, Rio Ferdinand named Napoli and Bayern Munich as the two teams Manchester City will be hoping to stay away from in the quarter-final draw.
“They [City] will be thinking, ‘stay away from Bayern, stay away from Napoli. Everybody else is game’,” Rio Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“They are that good a team. They have experience at this level now and they’ve got the players that can hurt any team on the planet.”
Bayern Munich have sealed their place in the quarter-final after defeating Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16. The German behemoths got the better of PSG with a 3-0 aggregate win.
Napoli, meanwhile, have not yet secured their passage to the next round of the Champions League. They are yet to play the second leg of their round of 16 tie with Eintracht Frankfurt. But Napoli are the favourites to win that tie as they won the first leg 2-0.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will take on Burnley in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in their next match. The match between Manchester City and Burnley will kick off at 11:15 pm Indian Standard Time on March 18.
