Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the transfer of Everton winger Anthony Gordon. The London outfit have made significant progress since the arrival of manager Antonio Conte in November 2021.
They have won nine of their opening 15 league games this season. The Spurs are currently fourth in the Premier League table, eight points behind leaders Arsenal. Tottenham Hotspur will look to challenge for the EPL title this season. Antonio Conte is likely to bring in reinforcements to his squad in January in that regard.
According to journalist Paul Brown, Tottenham are monitoring Everton winger Anthony Gordon ahead of the January transfer window. Manager Antonio Conte sees something special in the young English winger.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Brown said: “Tottenham’s interest in Anthony Gordon has never gone away. Conte, in particular, really likes this guy – sees something special in him. The issue for them was that they did not value Gordon any more than about 30 million in the summer”.

Anthony Gordon is among the most promising attackers in England. He has caught attention with his flair and dribbling skills, along with his ability to strike the ball cleanly. Gordon is also known for his high defensive contribution.
The 21-year-old attacker has played 63 Premier League games for Everton so far, registering seven goals and three assists. He won the 2021-22’s Everton Players’ Player of the Season award.
Gordon also impressed with his performances for England’s youth teams. He has scored four goals in nine appearances for the Three Lions U21 team so far.
Apart from Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in the transfer of Anthony Gordon. His contract at Goodison Park will run until the end of the 2024-25 season. Everton are likely to demand a hefty transfer fee to sell Antony Gordon.
It would be intriguing to see how much the Spurs are willing to pay in transfer fees to bring Anthony Gordon to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

When will Premier League resume?
The English Premier League is currently on a break due to the FIFA World Cup, which is currently being played in Qatar. It will resume on Boxing Day (December 26) just a few days after the FIFA World Cup final.
Tottenham will next lock horns against Brentford at Gtech Community Stadium on December 26. Meanwhile, Everton will resume their campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Goodison Park on December 26.
