Juventus Transfer News: Serie A giants are confident of completing the transfer of Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic.
The Serbia international has been a consistent performer for the Bundesliga club since joining from Hamburger SV in 2018. He has played 129 league games for the Frankfurt-based outfit thus far, scoring 18 goals.
He was the Eagles’ star performer during their UEFA Europa League triumph last term. Kostic registered three goals and four assists during the tournament, winning the Player of the Season accolade.
The 29-year-old was part of 2018-19’s Bundesliga Team of the Season and was also included in the UEFA Europa League Team of the Season twice.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are determined to complete the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic this week.
The Serbia international has already accepted personal terms with the Serie A giants. Talks are progressing to the final stages with both clubs currently in discussions over a transfer fee.
West Ham United have also shown interest in signing Kostic in recent weeks but the Turin outfit seem to have won the race for his signature. He is set to become the Bianconeri’s fifth signing of the ongoing transfer window after Gleison Bremer. Angel Di Maria, Andrea Cambiaso and Paul Pogba

Valued at £21.60 million by TransferMarkt, Kostic is a versatile footballer who is comfortable playing anywhere across the forward line or as a left-wing back. His biggest strengths are his crossing skills and ability to play key passes, while also being an accomplished set-piece taker.
Kostic will also inject experience into Bianconeri’s squad as he has played over 400 games as a professional footballer so far.
He played 31 Bundesliga games during the 2021-22 season, registering four goals and nine assists. According to WhoScored, he averaged 1.6 shots, 2.8 key passes and 0.8 dribbles per 90 in the league

Juventus struggled in Serie A last term, finishing fourth in the league table. They will look to turn things around next season and will lock horns against Sassuolo for their opening league game of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt will go up against Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final on August 11. They will then play Hertha Berlin for the opening game of the Bundesliga Season.
