This morning news broke that Thomas Tuchel has been sacked by Chelsea as their head coach. Tuchel’s sacking came in as a surprise for many fans and pundits. Especially after considering the fact that the new Chelsea Board had just backed the manager in the transfer window.
Chelsea’s new owner had made Tuchel the head of the transfers and the club acted upon his suggestion and brought him the players he wanted. Tuchel’s demands were met and the board looked like they were backing their guy.

But with The Blues struggling since the start of the season and being 7th in the premier league table it was evident that Chelsea’s new owner clearly did not like what he was seeing from his team. But last night after their embarrassing loss to Dinamo Zagreb was the final straw for Tuchel and he was finally sacked.
With Chelsea sacking another manager it is nothing new for them. The Blues under the previous owner had 13 managers in 9 seasons. Roman Abramovich’s philosophy was simple: You Perform You Survive You don’t perform You Perish. Still, with that attitude and many managers, Chelsea had pretty success as a club in those years.
With Tuchel gone, We decided to look at a few other managers whom Chelsea has sacked in the past few years.

But later in his next season despite the Covid-19 Pandemic The Blues managed to get in a few top talents like Ziyech, Havertz, and Timo Werner. But still, with all those transfers, Chelsea wasn’t performing and they were out of the top 4 race in the premier league. Thus soon by January 2021, Frank Lampard was sacked by Chelsea.
