Gary Neville has been a supporter of Marcus Rashford over the years. Hence the former United captain turned Sky Sports pundit said that he would hate to see the England international leave the club.

Marcus Rashford is Manchester United’s academy product. The 24-year old made his debut for the Red Devils in the 2015/16 season. Since then the forward has been a big part of the club.

The England international has starred in a lot of victories including the Champions League comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Recent rumours suggested that Marcus Rashford wants to leave the club. Following this, multiple clubs including FC Barcelona have reportedly enquired about the services of the forward. But Neville reportedly “hates” the idea of seeing the forward leave.

As per the Mirror, Gary Neville has agreed that Rashford is not having the best of seasons. The former United captain said that Marcus Rashford looks low on confidence and is not getting many chances to redeem himself.

To this, Gary Neville added, “He looks completely uncomfortable and unhappy on the pitch. When he came on against Atletico Madrid, again, he just looked like there was nothing there. He needs to get to the end of this season. He needs to regroup, reset.”
