MotoGP announces 2023 race schedule featuring debuts in India and Kazakhstan

MotoGP has announced its schedule for 2023, which includes 22 rounds in 18 countries.

One of the highlights of the year will be the Indian Grand Prix, also known as the Grand Prix of Bharat, taking place at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida between September 22nd and 24th.

This event will be organized by Fairstreet Sports. The first race of the year will be held in Portugal at the Autodromo International Do Algarve circuit from March 24th to 26th, marking the first time the country has hosted a MotoGP race in 16 years.

Dorna officials have praised the Buddh International Circuit as one of the most exciting tracks on the calendar. Before the Indian MotoGP, the Hyderabad Formula-E race is scheduled to take place in February.

Carmelo’s Statement

The Buddh International Circuit, which is typically used for Formula 1 racing, will be slightly modified to host the first MotoGP race. You can refer to the image for the schedule.

Dorna CEO, Carmelo Ezpeleta, expressed excitement about bringing MotoGP to India and its fans. He also highlighted the importance of the Indian market for the motorcycle industry and MotoGP.

The Grand Prix of Bharat will be held at the Buddh International Circuit, which has been modified to accommodate the MotoGP race.

In addition to India, the MotoGP will also make its debut in Kazakhstan at the Sokol International Race track.

MotoGP’s New Season

This year marks the first time in 16 years that the first MotoGP race will be held in a new country, with Portugal hosting the opening race at the Autodromo International Do Algarve circuit.

Doha’s Losail circuit, which has hosted the first race of the season since 2007, is undergoing renovations for Formula One races.

Overall, the 2023 MotoGP season promises to be an exciting one, with new venues and the return of some classic circuits.

With the addition of the Grand Prix of Bharat and the race in Kazakhstan, the series is sure to attract even more fans from around the world.
