Game Preview: San Antonio Spurs at Utah Jazz - Pounding The Rock

Spurs vs Jazz preview

The Spurs are about to embark on a road trip that will include games against the Jazz, Kings, Clippers, and Lakers, with the Clippers game being the second of a back-to-back. This game will be a significant concern if they don’t have a sense of urgency. Despite still being well below .500, San Antonio has been playing better basketball than Charlotte as of late behind the inspirational effort of Derrick White. On losses, however, they have been burned by allowing opponents to get hot from the outside.

Meanwhile, Utah enters the game on the back of a dominant performance over the Wizards. Donovan Mithcell and Rudy Gobert combined to score 48 points, as the Jazz cruised past the Wizards in a 123-98 win. The team holds a 7 game unbeaten run and if they want to continue it, they will have to put on a show against a resilient Clippers side.

Spurs vs Jazz Head to Head Record

The Jazz has won four straight games against the Spurs. This will be a very easy matchup for the Jazz.
