Yet Curtis Jackson has now distinguished himself as more than just a rap icon. The 47-year-old has built an entrepreneurial empire and displayed his intelligence around the globe.
The black rapper who previously captivated audiences with his songs is currently doing so through a variety of different endeavors. With his G-Unity Foundation Business Lab, the “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” musician has also contributed to assisting high-need children in creating their own business tycoons. The rapper teamed up with the NBA’s Houston Rockets to give back during Black History Month.
In 2003, 50 Cent launched his charity with the intention of helping areas that needed it. He opened the Houston location of the G-Unity Foundation Business Lab in 2021.

In collaboration with HIDC, they would provide children with an after-school programme to foster their development as entrepreneurs. The young people have the opportunity to speak with some of the city’s business leaders and gain important knowledge from them.
The winner receives incentives and funding to start his enterprise in the end. The Rockets and 50 collaborated just like they did in H-Town, and they even granted the rap icon access to the Toyota Center.
One of the most expensive NBA teams is the Rockets. According to Forbes, its CEOs are valued at $3.2 billion and have a wealth of experience when it comes to the art of success.
The NBA team welcomed 50 Cent and the G-Unity Foundation Business Lab during Black History Month. They invited the children to the Toyota Center for a career fair and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The Houston Rockets and 50 Cent Work Together to Give Back
The pupils had a chance to talk with Rockets officials because of it. On their company concepts and presentations, they were able to receive immediate feedback. In addition, both 50 Cent and the Rockets’ officials discussed the important business principles they had discovered along the way to success.
It might be argued that 50 Cent is the ideal spokesperson for this project because of his motivational journey. The rap legend had a net worth of $260 million at his peak. Yet, Jackson discovered the business principles that have assisted him in building a $40 million company when things were at their worst.
Even more, he chronicled his numerous life experiences and professional career in a book titled “Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter.” The 47-year-old has had a significant impact on a great number of urban children in need.
His goal is to assist young people without access to resources and teach them how to succeed on their own. His goal will undoubtedly be advanced by a collaboration with a storied NBA team like the Houston Rockets, which will also benefit G-Unity.
