During a recent game, one of LeBron James’ teammates was upset with James. LeBron James went to the locker room during halftime of the preseason game between the Warriors and the Lakers and changed into a hoodie, which resulted in current news coverage.
The athlete did not engage in this behavior in any way to communicate his dissatisfaction with the group or the competition. Simply put, he did not feel the need to hide the fact that his workday had come to an end.
However, even though he was chewing on some food, the King made his way to the bench to cheer on his fellow players. Unfortunately for him, LeBron James’ teammate Michael Cooper, a Lakers icon and LeBron James teammate Magic Johnson’s former colleague, has reprimanded him for exactly this behaviour. Also, it’s possible that James was bothered by what the icon had to say on James’s podcast, which goes by the name “Showtime with Coop.”
Recent preseason action featured a nail-biting matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. Even though the majority of the superstars were only on the field for a small portion of the game, the preseason could not have prepared anyone for the level of viciousness that both teams displayed during the regular season.
After a protracted and difficult battle between the two teams, the Warriors emerged victorious in the end with a score of 129 to 125. But the triumph itself wasn’t what generated the biggest headlines in the news.

Instead of him, LeBron James was there. It was already established that the King had showered during the halftime break, and when he returned to the bench for the second half, he did so casually dressed and with some food in his hands.
Although the majority of people found this to be amusing, a few people were angry at James’ careless behavior. LeBron James’ teammate Michael Cooper was one of them, and he made the following statement on his program called “Showtime with Coop,” which can be seen in the tweet that was posted by NBA Central on their platform that was once known as Twitter.

“Man, you need to have some respect for the game. I have no problem with the individual eating, but he should go eat in the locker room so that when he comes back he can join the team and not just eat at the end of the bench as he has been doing.
It is going to be very interesting to see how LeBron James responds to these words, if he does answer at all, or even if he does respond at all. Criticising James for eating while sitting on the bench, however, seems a little unfair when considering that other NBA stars have been doing the same thing for years.
