After making it to the playoffs in the previous campaign, it is widely believed that the New Orleans Pelicans will be a formidable opponent once again in the next campaign. Since they’ve gotten their hands on a healthy Zion Williamson, Willie Green’s team has been one of the best in the Western Conference, which shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
The Pels, who have an 18-12 record and are presently fourth in the Western Conference, are only 1.5 games behind the team that currently holds the top slot. In its first 30 games, NOLA has already earned victories over a number of NBA powerhouses, including the Nets, Grizzlies, Nuggets, and Suns, among others.
It is even more surprising that this young Pelicans squad has managed to retain a winning record of 600 despite the absence of its All-Star player, who has been sidelined for 15 games due to injury.
According to Shams Charania, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram need to work on developing some type of chemistry together. Because of injuries sustained over the course of the past three years, the All-Star team that includes Zion Williamson and BI hasn’t participated in as many games as the front office had hoped they would.

Many people believe that the chemistry of the former Duke Blue Devils will be essential for the Louisiana-based squad because the player who will be awarded the Most Improved Player award in 2020 is currently out with a toe injury. While appearing on FanDuel TV, Shams Charania also addressed the crucial importance of the same topic.
According to Brandon Ingram, who went away a few years ago, he and Zion Williamson played together quite a bit during the prior two seasons, and I believe it is very important for them to establish synergy with one another because of this. After the conclusion of their respective seasons, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram were both recognised as All-Stars.
BI, on the other hand, provided genuine assistance for this team and carried the strain in the prior year. Zion Williamson did not play in any of the games.
I do not feel that their playing styles will compete with one another now that they are both back, but I am conscious of how important it is for the season and the team as a whole to find a way for the two of them to find common ground and work together.
When will Brandon Ingram’s services once again be available to the team?
In the middle of the second quarter of the game between the Pels and the Grizzlies on November 25, the 6-foot-8 forward suffered a toe injury in his left foot and had to leave the court.

Unfortunately, sources suggest that the All-Star even suffered a “setback” when he was in the process of recovering. The precarious nature of the situation worsened as coach Green delivered a bleak report on Ingram’s condition.
Things have gotten better, but it has been a slow and steady process. There is currently no information available regarding when he will be able to return to game action. Willie Green commented, “We’re just kind of handling it week by week.”
After hearing what the head coach had to say, it is very clear that it appears as though BI will be absent from more games than any of us had originally thought. On the other hand, when he does return, we will be waiting for him, and the rest of the league will find that terrifying.
