Real Madrid News: Real Madrid are reportedly targeting a midfielder this summer. However, the LaLiga Champions have denied any interest in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Paul Pogba’s contract with Manchester United will run out at the end of this month. And the Frenchman has been linked with a possible move to the Spanish giants. However, that has been the headline story in every summer transfer window for the last five years.
Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane reportedly asked the board to sign the World Cup winner during his tenure at the club. But currently, Madrid have denied any such interest, let alone making contact with either the player or his entourage, as reported by One Football.
Even so, the Champions League winners are looking to sign a midfielder. And the name that has been on top of their list is Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni.

Manchester United have stood their ground not to renew Paul Pogba. Pogba has had an underwhelming six years at the club by his high standards. And now he joins Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic among others in the list of players who are set to leave the Red Devils on a free transfer.
The club is at the helm of new manager Erik ten Hag and is ready to set foot in a new era. That includes getting rid of the deadwood and signing prospects that would fit their plans.
Recent reports from Sky Sports suggested that the 29-year-old flashy midfielder is studying several offers. The most notable ones chasing the superstar are Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
With Los Blancos firmly denying their interest, the Frenchman looks set for a possible return to his former club Juventus. He parted ways with the Italian giants to move to Manchester back in 2016.
However, Pogba is not rushing into making a decision as this could be the final big headline move of his bobbing career.
