With the IPL dates nearing ever further, one of the most loved teams in the tournament have come up with new jerseys and kits for the upcoming event.
The 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League is scheduled to start from March 23 and the nation doesn’t seem to calm. Not only the fans but also the vibrant eight teams look super excited for cricket’s most loved extravaganza.
Mumbai Indians, one of the strongest IPL contenders, who’ll be having their first face off against the mighty Delhi Capitals, launched their brand new jersey for the upcoming season of IPL on Sunday, February 24. The match is scheduled on the second day of the event at Wankhede Stadium.
With the launch of their new jersey’s, Mumbai Indians posted a video on their social media platforms to reveal their new jersey. In the video, skipper Rohit Sharma followed by Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik and Krunal Pandya were spotted dressed up in a whole new and shining jersey.

“Our aim is to gel well as a unit. With a couple of games scheduled in the first week, we are aiming to settle down to excel in the forthcoming IPL competition. We have set small goals to come good in the long tourney. As a team, we will go ahead on the week-to-week performance which will help us in doing well in this edition,” Rohit told Star Sports on the launch of the jersey.
