BBL commenced off with the fixture between Hobart Hurricanes vs Sydney Sixers and witnessed the brilliant fielding from Jordan Silk.
Cricket tournament of twenty overs always remains and excitement for the cricket fans. Likewise, Big Bash League began with the great fixture between Hobart Hurricanes vs Sydney Sixers.
As a result, Hobart Hurricanes pocketed the match by almost 16 runs and claimed the first win of the tournament. It will help them to boost their confidence in the upcoming fixtures of the team.
Whereas, T20 cricket is one of the fastest cricket formats which brings lots of interesting things for us. Similarly, the beginning of the Big Bash League also brings another interesting thing in its first match only.
However, efforts from the Sydney Sixers fielder to save the six had stunned everyone who presents there. Because he dived back over the six runs rope and saved a couple of runs for the team.
Meanwhile, Hobart Hurricanes played first and posted a total of 178/8 runs in the 20 overs. Though their both the openers Will Jacks & D’Arcy Short went back to pavilion on a duck. Then also, they were able to reach the huge total.
Later on, skipper Peter Handscomb and Colin Ingram build the inning and made the partnership over 50 runs in just 8 overs. Colin Ingram stood on the crease till the 16th spell of the first inning and finished his remarkable inning (55 off 42).
After that Tim David carried the inning forward by hitting 58 runs in just 33 balls. Including eight boundaries and one six and puts his bat down in the last over and helped to set the successful target in front of Sydney Sixers.
Jordan Silk’s brilliant six saving efforts
Before then, Jordan Silk did a brilliant piece of effort for saving a couple of runs for his team. In the last quarter of the match, Colin Ingram smashed powerfully to get the six for but Jordan Silk puts his effort in vain.
On the other hand, Sydney Sixers used the six bowlers for defending themselves from Hobart Hurricanes batters. From them, Dwarshuis and Daniel Christian were impressive who scalped two each.

While chasing Sydney Sixers batters were looking confident but failed to finish the game. Opener Josh Philip went back by scoring one run but Jack Edward and James Vince did an excellent partnership over 100 runs.
Both of them scored 47 runs and 67 runs respectively. Tailenders accept Jordan Silk and Daniel Christian none was able to smash double-digit score at the end of the match results turn to be losing side for Sydney Sixers.
Henceforth, Hobart Hurricanes will be happy with their first win in the BBL but Sydney Sixers might need to improve the performance of the finishing batsmen. Hence, this will help them to clinch the victories over opponents in the future fixtures.
