WWE Superstar Signs New Big Money Deal. AJ Styles reportedly has signed a new deal with the WWE which is rumored to put him among the top earners at the company.
Sean Ross Sapp broke the story this afternoon about AJ Styles’ new WWE contract. “We weren’t given a time length, besides the fact that it was a multi-year deal. His original contract was set to expire in the Spring/Summer and would have had him hit free agency for the first time since leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling.
This puts AJ Styles right up there with the likes of The Miz, edge, and Goldberg as one of the top earners. This is impressive, given that during his debut Vince McMahon did not see him as a star. And didn’t expect anyone to recognize him during his Royal Rumble Appearance.
Watching his debut again makes you shiver as it was a moment in time. A career come full circle as he and Roman Reigns stared each other down. A preview of what was to come.
AJ Styles achieved massive success in the WWE. Winning the WWE Championship twice, the United States Championship 3 times. The Intercontinental Championship once, and the WWE Tag Team Championship once with a host of other awards.

AJ Styles was one of the hottest acts in the world before stepping foot inside the WWE. His work in Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling solidified him as a top-level athlete, He traveled the world while clashing with some of the most legendary wrestlers.
Matches against Minoru Suzuki, Samoa Joe, Kota Ibushi, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, and Kurt Angle all happened outside the WWE. They all are classics that showed AJ Styles could put out a five-star match no matter the opponent or style.
Now Vince sees him as a star. He stated, “He certainly pays me like I am.” Styles has had two runs with the company’s biggest title. He’s been putting out high-quality matches, and at the same time putting over younger talents like Omos, Grayson Waller, and Damien Priest.
Meltzer explains that if both figures are believed to be correct. Then Kevin Owens’s new WWE contract is worth less than Styles.
Dave Meltzer has reported that Owens will make in the region of $2-3 million a year, and Fightful Select said it is a multi-year deal, reported being three years. This means AJ Styles is now earning between $3-4 million a year.
Meltzer goes on to explain that while Styles is now one of the top earners. His new salary is lower than the likes of Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns who all earn more than he does.
AJ Styles could be set for a WrestleMania match. It seems that he could face fellow former WWE Champion and rated-r superstar Edge at the show.
