Joao Felix has fallen out of favour at Atletico Madrid and has been linked with a move away from the club this summer. The Portuguese international also recently revealed his desire to play for FC Barcelona.
Barcelona are keen to sign Joao Felix this summer, but the Catalan outfit would have to do so while still staying within their financial limits. Meanwhile, they are also set to complete the signing of Joao Cancelo on loan from Manchester City.
The loan deal to land Joao Cancelo would also have an option to sign the full-back on a permanent deal.

Barcelona Transfer Update: Fabrizio Romano said in a tweet that the defending La Liga champions are prepared to activate the ‘operation Joao Felix’ in the next 48 hours.
The Barcelona board are working to find a solution to make the deal while still complying with Financial Fair Play rules, Fabrizio Romano added in the tweet. Joao Felix is also waiting for Barcelona, ever since he revealed his desire to join them in July.
Fabrizio Romano also further added in the tweet that Felix would only consider other offers – including interest from Saudi Pro League sides – if the move to Barcelona collapses.

With the summer transfer window of 2023 in its final stretch, it remains to be seen if Barcelona will be able to complete the signing of Joao Felix.
Should Barcelona manage to complete the signing of Joao Felix, it will further bolster their attacking department. Despite his struggles at Atletico Madrid, Felix remains highly-rated and a talented attacker who can make a difference for the teams he plays for.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are unbeaten in La Liga this season, with the club currently sitting fourth in the points table. Xavi and co. have so far played three La Liga games in the current campaign and have two wins and a draw. Barcelona will take on Osasuna in a La Liga fixture in their next game.
