Chelsea have been active in the summer transfer window of 2023, with the west London outfit seeing a lot of incomings and outgoings. The Blues have bolstered their squad this summer, and it seems like Mauricio Pochettino and co. are not done yet.
In a latest Arsenal transfer news update, Daily Mail reports that Chelsea are weighing up a move for Emile Smith Rowe. The 23-year-old had an injury-hit campaign with Arsenal in the 22/23 season. He made just 15 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners in the 22/23 campaign.
Emile Smith Rowe featured for Arsenal against Manchester City in the Community Shield this season, coming on as a substitute. However, the English attacking midfielder has not featured for the Gunners in any of the three Premier League games they have so far played in the current campaign.

Daily Mail reports that Chelsea are considering a late move for the 23-year-old before the summer transfer window of 2023 closes. The interest, however, is not that advanced at this stage.
Chelsea would need to act quickly if they want to land Emile Smith Rowe, given the transfer deadline day is on Friday.
Smith Rowe, meanwhile, has a contract that runs until 2026 with Arsenal. That means he has around three years left on his current deal with Mikel Arteta’s side.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have seven points in three games in the Premier League so far this season. Mikel Arteta and co. sit fifth in the points table. While Arsenal defeated Nottingham Forest 2-1 and Crystal Palace 1-0 in their first two games, Fulham held them to a 2-2 draw in the third game.
Arsenal will take on fierce rivals Manchester United in Premier League in their next fixture. That match will kick-off at 9:00 pm Indian Standard Time on September 3rd.
